Matt Tindall
Clinic Owner + Clinic Manager
In 2001, Matt completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney. He started out his career at Bankstown Hospital, where he loved the patients and staff so much, he stayed for over 20 years!
While working at Bankstown, in 2011, Matt completed a Diploma of Management. For 9 years he managed a team of over 50 physiotherapists, then joined the hospital executive as Director of Allied Health and was responsible for managing over 150 allied health staff.
Matt opened Physio Inq Menai in 2023. Matt’s business mantra is ‘change lives.’ Employees have the power to change the lives of each person they treat, and at the same time, he aims to change the lives of his staff, ensuring they achieve a work-life balance and get what they want out of work.
In his younger days, Matt represented Sydney in cricket and taught kids’ karate while making his way through university. He currently enjoys bushwalking with his wife, and daughter, and road cycling.
Alison Dawes
Clinic Co-Owner + Manager
Alison joins Physio Inq Menai with over 20 years of experience working in the Health and Community sectors. After completing a Diploma of Community Services (Welfare) in 2000, Alison worked in youth health education. Alison went on to complete a Bachelor of Social Work in 2005 and while studying, worked in community development for a local council, focusing on Health and Disability portfolios. After graduating, Alison moved into the child protection arena, followed by Women and Children’s Health, working as a Senior Social Worker at a large urban hospital. Alison then went on to complete a Masters of Social Science degree in 2012, and took up a role coordinating a large paediatric health program for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. More recently, Alison has been working for a not-for-profit organisation, providing emergency relief casework and community development projects, to vulnerable members of the community.
Alison is excited to be taking on this new role with Physio Inq Menai. Her vision is to bring public health values of equity and access to the private sector. Outside of work, Alison enjoys practicing yoga and pilates and bushwalking with her family.
